Experienced Solution Consultant - Enterprise, California (Remote)


Are you a master presenter with experience demoing software solutions? We’re looking for a dynamic, driven self-starter who’s passionate about process and working with software to join our team as a Sales Engineer, where you’ll collaborate with other members of our Sales Organization to give prospects and customers onsite deep dives into our systems. In this role, you’ll serve as one of the “Navy SEALs” of our Sales organization, taking your skills on the road along with Account Executives and Account Managers to provide tailored, comprehensive demos that both address organizational needs and reinforce the value of the iCIMS product suite. Responsibilities:
  • Supports Sales initiatives by providing accurate & dynamic demonstrations of Recruit, and all iCIMS products for business development purposes (through webinars and in-person meetings) within the Strategic-Enterprise segment.
  • Utilizes our best-of-breed solution resources to demonstrate the value of iCIMS to customers across a defined region.
  • Acts as the Subject Matter Expert on all product-related questions.
  • Uncovers and eliminates customer-specific business challenges relating to product functionality and delivery.
  • Works directly with, and maintains contact with Account Executives to increase their knowledge and product demonstration skills.
  • Maintains a solid understanding of competitive landscape and challenges/opportunities therein.
  • Educates appropriate staff in our Customer Success Department for implementations, integrations, and technical support questions.
  • Ensures that issues that cannot be immediately solved are escalated with internal technical departments for support as needed.
  • Understands competitive landscape and SWOT analysis for iCIMS’ product line. Ensures demonstrations target product strengths matched to customer needs.
  • May present at webinars, events and tradeshows.
  • Thoroughly understands technical infrastructure and iCIMS architecture. Leads technical calls for customers within all segments.
  • Mentors and trains Sales Engineers, Account Executives and others within the organization.
  • Manages all integration calls and material development.
  • Creates technical documents and or questionnaires.
  • Participates in marketing efforts.
  • Holds advanced technical understanding of iCIMS product suite.
  • Conducts demo certifications for other departments.
  • Assists with partner training and integrations.
  • Collaborates with marketing to ensure that we have value presentations, video demos, website content and overall collateral to support the product
  • Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS’ core competencies.
  • Travels at least 60% of the time.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • A minimum of 12+ years of experience with product specialization, HR software or a related field preferred.
  • Holds a demo certification on all iCIMS products.
  • In depth understanding of iCIMS products and technical specifications required.
  • Previous experience working for a software or technology company required.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness at training and mentoring others.
  • Computer literate; proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, changing environment that is going through high growth
  • A self-starter with the demonstrated ability to take initiative, who can proactively identify issues/opportunities and recommend actions.
  • Strong results orientation
  • Able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Understanding of HR software space and particularly recruitment CRM required.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, resilience and creativity when solving for complex issues.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation. Creates and sustains ongoing forums that encourage two-way communication opportunities.
  • Must be able to travel at least 60% of the time.
